💯 Answer: Depends! Is it a single home on a piece of land? Is it part of a subdivision? Are there many other homes to be built before yours? Is the builder currently working on your phase of the project? Did you pick your finishes in a timely manner? Are there permit or construction delays, weather delays, or Acts of God that occur during the build? Are materials available or backordered? Is your lender timely with appraisals and underwriting? Do you need to sell a home in order to close on the new home?

🏡 My Buyers are FINALLY Home! This home took 12 months to build! But there where 3 homes to be built before it so that’s one of the factors in this scenario. Otherwise I would have expected about a 7-8 month build time…. depending 🙂
