UPSIDE/DOWNSIDE For Buyers: A Window of Opportunity

Upside for Buyers: The sky is falling! The sky is falling! No no, RATES are falling! FINALLY! I’ve witnessed rates ranging from 6 to 6.5 percent on the five offers I received on my listing this month—a welcoming sign for buyers out there. If you’ve been on the fence about jumping back into a home search or making a move, this might be your cue to get in touch and get the ball rolling!

Downside for Buyers: But, (and it’s a big but), the clock is ticking. This window of opportunity won’t stay open forever, especially once the word gets out that rates have plummeted and the market reacts. It’s time to act before everyone jumps back on the bandwagon of home searching, rates drop lower, and home prices surge. And they will my friends, the pent-up buyer demand is no joke.

UPSIDE/DOWNSIDE For Sellers: Maximizing Returns

Upside for Sellers: Sellers, rejoice! We’re seeing a throwback to the multiple offer scenarios reminiscent of 2021 and 2022 (and 2023 if I was your listing agent– shameless plug I know). The market’s heating up, buyer’s are back and plentiful, and it’s an ideal time to capitalize on the lack of competition.

Downside for Sellers: Now, I hear your concerns. You’re hesitant to give up a super low-interest rate on your current mortgage, and the question of “where to next?” looms large. But life is about moving forward, and wouldn’t you prefer to do it with a strategy that ensures you sell high and buy low when life throws you a curveball- like a new job or more or less kids in the house? I have the strategies and answers to navigate these waters smoothly and with all things, it’s better to have a plan of action and not need it, than no plan at all. Plus don’t you want to know exactly what home projects make you more money when you sell, vs those that don’t pay off? I know! I know! Call me!
