The Upside for Buyers: First and foremost, if you’ve been keeping tabs, you’d know that the housing inventory has been a bit sparse lately. But guess what? We’re finally seeing some homes pop up on the market! That’s right, you have options, people! In fact, 100 homes hit the market the week after labor day in Southern NH. Wow! If you’re keen to move into your dream home before the holiday decorations go up, now’s the time to make your move. Hit me up, and let’s make it happen!

The Downside for Buyers: Okay, real talk—interest rates. We’re seeing a little spike. I know, I know, I always say it, but it’s a big deal. But here’s the thing: interest rates rise, everyone freaks out for a hot second, then adjusts, and life goes on. Because at the end of the day, you still need to move, get more space, need an extra bedroom, you get the idea. So, don’t let those numbers scare you off; the market always has its way of leveling the playing field and if you gotta make a move, real estate is always cheaper yesterday!

The Upside for Sellers: If you’re contemplating selling, let me spill some tea: There’s no better time than the present. We’re still in an inventory crunch, meaning demand for homes is sky-high. (My listing the second week in September got 27 offers and had 109 showings so needless to say, buyers are shopping!). Right before the holiday season is when a lot of buyers are eager to lock in their new nests, making it the perfect opportunity for you to list your property and score a favorable deal.

The Downside for Sellers: Heads up, folks! The holiday slowdown is real. If you don’t have a strategy in place to get your home on the market, or plans for a January listing, you should start having those conversations like yesterday. Trust me; you don’t want to miss out on the current buyer demand. Strike while the iron is hot!
